We have all seen sign standoffs at one time or another however why should we use them and also why type should we use? What kind of standoffs do you need for your purposes though? Essentially these standoffs come in two types; through and border. The first type means that you need to drill holes into the sign itself and then thread the standoffs through and they are then held in place; this is often the best way to hold them in more securely as they will be fully supporting the weight of the sign.

The second way is border standoffs. This is not as secure as the through ones; basically it consists of attaching the standoffs to a solid wall and then sliding the sign into the grips so that it tightens and keeps the sign in place without having to drill holes. Generally speaking both of these methods are absolutely fine when it comes to holding and displaying a sign however if you are looking for a more secure grip then the through ones are probably best. In saying that, both methods will be inexpensive to do and highly useful as well especially for your business and signage needs.
